HFF(*)は1920年代に全盛を極めたUFA(**)の跡地のスタジオに隣接し、ドイツの5つのメディア関連学校の中で最古かつ最大の映画およびテレビ専門学校です。
今回ご講演いただくProf. Ulrich WeinbergはComputer Animationがご専門ですが、HFFではデジタルメディア制作に関する活動を積極的に進めており、デジタルアーカイブの共有、学生の交換など、今後DMC機構とのコラボレーションを視野に入れ、この度はじめて日本へお招きすることになりました。
日本初になる今回のProf. Ulrich Weinbergの講演では、HFFにおける映画・TV制作教育の現状、そのなかでも特にデジタルメディア制作の取り組みについて紹介いただきます。さらに、HFFで学生が制作したデジタル作品の上映も行い、日独のデジタルメディアについて情報の共有と交換を行う予定です。
